Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses is a vibrant community garden situated in the centre of Brockwell Park. The BPCG charity is committed to enabling a diverse range of local residents, schools and visitors to increase their knowledge, improve their wellbeing and to create greener communities. Our one-acre site is a thriving hub of volunteering activities and educational initiatives.
We are currently looking for an Education Officer to help move our project into the next stage of its development. You will have extensive experience in developing and delivering an education programme for schools and local communities, preferably with experience of, or a passion for, food growing and/or wildlife gardening. A proven track record of developing and managing projects and running events is also essential, as is experience of working with children, volunteers and the local community.
This is an existing role, funded for six months with the possibility of extension (pending further funding). This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to make a real difference to our charity and the communities with whom we work.
