Job Description
We are now recruiting a RELIABLE permanent salesperson for our busy market stall. We look for an outgoing, friendly and an efficient person as our customers are young, matured ladies and various nationalities.
We sell Himalayan textile/handicraft products in the Old Spitalfields Market. Working days are flexible between 3-5 days and weekends are compulsory. Hours vary depend on the day of the week which is typically between 9:00 – 18:30.
JOB ROLE:
-Setting up the market stall every morning/ breaking down every evening, which will include some heavy equipment
-Assisting in creating a visually attractive display
-Maintaining the stall appearance throughout the day
-Promoting our products
-Achieving sales*
-Sales recording
-Customer care is the top priority
The successful candidate should be confident to speak with customers and with fluent verbal English skill.
Previous sales experience preferable but not compulsory as training will be provided. All applicants must be legally able to work in the UK.
