Job Description
Candidate must be enthusiastic with an interest in current affairs. Media qualification is preferred but not essential for a 2 month internship at our international news network. The internship may develop into a permanent contract following the 2 months placement.
- Analyst will bring together information from a global perspective from prominent news organisations such as PressTV, RussiaToday, CCTV China and Aljazeera.
- You will ultimately formulate and implement a comprehensive international strategy as an extension of GVN media. This will entail a period of strategy formulation during which a number of internal factors will be considered.
- The Analyst will have project management responsibilities within the department, ensuring good communication and structured working across the team.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the finer points of article abstracting – from general news to journal-style reports – and be able to maintain a culture of accuracy and professionalism.
- Knowledge of Central Asian issues and culture is preferred but not essential.
