Job Description

Job Title: E-commerce and Customer Support

Salary: Negotiable based on experience

Company overview:
My client is a distributor of sporting apparel, equipment and accessories, representing trusted quality brands. They have several websites serving B2B and B2C and are currently developing the Business to Europe side of the business.
Due to their success they have a large group of retail clients who conveniently order online and distribution is automatically managed. However, each customer is unique, whether they are a large chain, a boutique or online store, and my client prides itself in their ability to provide an individual sales and support service to each.

Duties:
Reporting to the Managing Director and working with the Sales Reps, you will add value to the retail operations by supplying outstanding B2B and B2C customer service and e-commerce support. You will be the first point of contact for consumers and businesses with online and general product questions.
You will drive the online side of the business forward by updating the various websites by editing products images, prices and editorial content. Your marketing activities will also involve some writing and designing of promotional material which can be banners, emails, posters etc giving you the opportunity to explore your creativity by building channels to drive traffic to the sites. You will have a strong focus on onsite sales conversion with experience of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Google Analytics.
This is a great opportunity to take ownership and manage your own area of the business within a well-established company working in a team with trusted sports brands.
Some international travel may be involved.

Skill and Experience:
• Preferably have experience in E-Commerce systems – ideally in at least one of the following:
o Supply chain, Distribution or Product Merchandising
• Customer focused
• Knowledge of other e-commerce systems such as eBay and PayPal
• Previous customer service, either B2C, B2B or both
• Strong communication skills
• Problem solving ability
• Great team player
• Photoshop or similar
• Attention to detail
• Languages are desirable but not essential
• An interest in outdoor fitness would be advantageous
• An understanding of the legal context e.g. DDA, Distance Selling Regulations

This is a full time permanent position working 9am – 5.30pm to start ASAP.
