Job Description
We are a small independent Muslim secondary school for girls with 125 pupils on the roll (yrs 7-11) from all races and cultures with an outstanding Ofsted inspection and academic record.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic teacher preferably with qualified teacher status for the following post: To teach the subject across all years culminating in the GCSE. The successful candidate will be the sole Geography teacher with full responsibility for the subject, and must be committed to raising the profile of the subject and further improving our excellent academic standards. He/she must have at least one year of teaching experience.
This is a part time position (0.6) but could be full time for anyone able to offer a second subject from History, P.E., English and Science. (For P.E. a female teacher is essential.) The ability to offer a combination of subjects on a full time basis would be an advantage. There is also an opportunity to take up a pastoral role in the school.
